Expert Psychologist Wanted for Mental Health Role

Are you a skilled mental health professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist.
The Tasmanian Health Service has established the Psychologist Employment Register to provide a pool of experienced and skilled people who can work at short notice. This register will remain open until 30 June 2026 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in psychology and experience working with patients with mental health conditions. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Experience working with patients with mental health conditions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
