We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our team in Tasmania. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to clients and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.
About the Role">- Provide assessment, treatment planning and intervention services for children and adolescents with mental health disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in mental health.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Occupational Therapist or Psychologist.
- Psychologists must have current clinical psychology or forensic psychology registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Social Workers must be eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Occupational Therapists must be eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Up to $15,000 inclusive of flights and relocation costs.
- Temporary accommodation up to a maximum of 12 weeks or $550 per week is available if the department is unable to provide temporary accommodation for the 12 weeks.
- 482 visa and 186 visa open for discussion.
- Experience working in Mental Health in a hospital setting is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health principles and practices is essential.
