Ecological Consultant Opportunity

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ecological Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in problem-solving, prepare proposals, review reports, and conduct field investigations across various terrestrial ecosystems. You will contribute to high-level reporting, provide ecological advice, and support the identification of environmental constraints and opportunities across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, proposals, and technical reports.
  • Conduct field investigations, surveys, and assessments to inform project decisions.
  • Provide expert advice on ecological matters, including species identification, habitat assessment, and impact mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in ecological consulting, including leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
