About the Role

This opportunity suits individuals with tertiary qualifications in ecology, science or equivalent disciplines.

  • Deliver ecology surveys and assessments through fieldwork during various times of day and weekends.
  • Work alongside experienced ecologists to develop field skills and ecological understanding across a diverse bioregion.
Key Requirements

Be able to drive manual vehicles and have confidence driving in regional settings.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours, sometimes at short notice.
  • Available for travel away from home, typically within NSW's mid north coast, northern tablelands and northern regions.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations and on active construction sites.
  • Eagerness to learn and undertake relevant training.
  • Competence working with Microsoft Office software.
