Mountain Culinary Professional

As a culinary professional, you will play a key role in our kitchen team to produce high-quality meals. Your responsibilities will include practicing and teaching portion control, quality control, waste control, and product preparation techniques.
The ideal candidate will have superior recipe knowledge for every item on our menus. You will be responsible for monitoring food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control and maintaining the cleanliness standards of our hotel.
Additional responsibilities include requisitioning the appropriate amount of food product in accordance with established policies and procedures, completing all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner, and ensuring that all standard recipes are followed in all outlets.
A clean and safe working environment is crucial, and you will be expected to maintain this at all times. A full knowledge of and practice of all of our established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S) is also required.

- Ensure that our kitchens produce a high-quality food product at all times
- Anticipate and attend to the guests' needs and desires immediately
- Prepare sauces, soups, and hot dishes for service and special functions
- Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on our menus
- Monitor food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control
- Monitor all food storage facilities to ensure proper storage techniques and cleanliness standards
- Prepare and properly garnish all pantry items

- Maintain your self-appearance in accordance with our grooming standards

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Have a full knowledge of and practice all of our established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S)
- Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment
- Attend all scheduled meetings
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Executive Chef/Sous Chef
