About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide in-home support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and managing laundry.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided, progress notes, and any incidents or changes in the individual's condition.
Requirements
  • Experience in disability support or related field (preferred)
  • Trained in manual handling (advantage)
  • Experience supporting individuals with mobility needs through the use of hoists (advantage)
  • Flexible availability to work AM or PM shifts
