Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment.

Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks, examining faulty equipment for defects, and utilizing hand tools to fit and assemble parts. You will also be responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • Mechanical fitting trade qualification
  • Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics (desirable)
  • Demonstrated sound mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematic drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong time management, administration, and organizational skills
