Survival Skills Advocate

This role is a chance to make a positive impact in the community of Alice Springs by supporting family violence survivors.
The position involves working closely with a local housing provider to help clients secure stable and safe homes, providing support for up to 18 months while a Tenancy Officer secures long-term housing. Additionally, you will continue to provide support for 3 months after clients exit the program.
- This full-time role is a 12-month contract with possible extension.
- A competitive salary package including SCHADS Level 5 + super.
- Work location: Alice Springs - we encourage local applicants.
- Qualifications: A Bachelor-level qualification is ideal, but applicants with strong family violence experience are also welcome.
- You have experience working with people impacted by family violence.
- You possess skills in case management, safety planning, and referrals.
- You can work effectively with diverse communities.
- You have knowledge of local services and housing options in Alice Springs.
