Job Title: HSE Advisor

We are seeking a seasoned HSE Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Occupational Health and Safety, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role is based on a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) arrangement, offering a unique opportunity for professionals seeking a dynamic work environment.

This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on our client's safety performance, developing and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and training to supervisors and personnel on site.
  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science.
  • Cert IV Training / Assessing highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in the haulage, transport, and freight industry an advantage.
  • FIFO experience essential.
