We are seeking a Health Safety Environment Specialist to join our team on a long-term lithium project in South West WA region. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of safe projects.

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining HSE systems, schedules, and data to support the delivery of safe projects. They will also play a key role in proactively encouraging a positive HSE culture across the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and reporting on HSE performance across all projects and offices
  • Providing regular relief HSE support to sites as and when needed
  • Conducting HSE systems audits on site and reporting with recommendations
  • Monitoring audit schedules and corrective action items for closure
  • Overseeing incident reporting protocols and data management within the INX system
  • Facilitating project risk assessments
  • Aligning HSE Management Plans and training packages to client/project requirements
  • Administering the Learning Management System (LMS)

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Certifications or qualifications within the HSE/OHS space
  • Experience in EPC/EPCM/client/owner is desirable
  • Experience in SMP/construction
  • Considerable HSE experience in a previous engineering/resources-related environment
  • A thorough understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Well-developed technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders
