Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Service Officer. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored support through knowledge of BankSA's financial products and services.
  • Address everyday banking queries and refer customers to relevant specialists, ensuring each customer receives comprehensive guidance.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and perform end-of-day balancing to ensure secure financial transactions.
  • Educate customers on digital platforms such as online banking and mobile apps to enhance their banking experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing through targeted solutions and collaborate with colleagues to implement effective strategies.

This part-time branch-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with our team and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: ideally in a customer-facing role with a proven track record of providing exceptional service.
  • Numerical Skills: proficiency in handling cash and accuracy in financial transactions is essential.
  • Personality: a genuine passion for helping people and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Resilience: ability to remain calm and composed while handling challenging situations and maintaining a positive attitude.
