Swimming Instructor Role

About the Swimming Instructor Role

  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Manage and maintain a safe and clean learning environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
  • Work collaboratively with other instructors and support staff to achieve team goals
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our swim program by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes

Requirements for Success

  • AUSTSWIM Accreditation certificate - Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Teacher of Competitive Strokes (highly regarded)
  • Teacher of Aquatics - Access and Inclusion (highly regarded)
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Working with Children Check (if 18 years or older)
  • Availability to work flexible rosters, including weekdays, weekends, and afternoons
