Job Description:

  • \
  • Utilize your thorough understanding of drawings, specifications and quality, WHS, and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.\
  • Support the implementation of the project quality, WHS and environmental management plans on all projects.\
  • Assist with daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.\
  • Assist with the monitoring and updating of the construction program and site activity.\
  • Ensure materials are procured in advance of the construction program.\
  • Assist in monitoring daily work activities to maximize the utilization of plant and resources.\
  • Implement improvements for managing site-related costs.\
  • Assist in implementing health, safety, environment and quality standards and practices.\
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.\\/ul\

Requirements:

  • \
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or working towards.\
  • 1-2+ years previous experience as an Engineer in the civil industry, ideally within residential subdivisions/bulk earthworks.\
  • A current White Card & Drivers Licence.\
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards and practices.\
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.\
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to show initiative and take ownership.\
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detail.\
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem-solve.\
  • Confidence in using technology, including CRM-based applications and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.\\/ul\
