Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of site-related activities.


About the Role

This position requires a strong understanding of drawings, specifications, quality, WHS, and environmental requirements. You will be responsible for implementing project quality, WHS, and environmental management plans on all projects.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Utilise your thorough knowledge of drawings, specifications, and quality, WHS, and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.
  • Support the implementation of project quality, WHS, and environmental management plans on all projects.
  • Assist with daily project monitoring, including toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Assist with monitoring and updating the construction program and site activity.
  • Ensure materials are procured in advance of the construction program.
  • Assist in monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources.
  • Implement improvements for managing site-related costs.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or working towards.
  • 1-2+ years previous experience as an Engineer in the civil industry, ideally within residential subdivisions/bulk earthworks.
  • A current White Card & Drivers Licence.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standards and practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to show initiative and take ownership.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Confidence in using technology, including CRM-based applications and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
