About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front of House Assistant to join our team at Bowler Cafe in Myrtle Bank. As a key member of our cafe team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in serving quality cafe meals to residents, staff, visitors, and functions
  • Undertake general kitchen duties, including food preparation and presentation
  • Liaise with staff of all levels, including cafe team members, residents, visitors, and the general public
  • Assist other members of the cafe team as required, including supporting new team members
  • Participate in activities that measure the quality standards and residents' satisfaction of the catering services
Requirements
  • Holds responsible Serving of Alcohol Certificate
  • Experience in the preparation, delivery, and serving of meals, including barista experience
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow policy, procedures, and other guidelines and standards
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build strong internal relationships and contribute to a positive working environment
