About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our team in Australia. This role is pivotal in driving our supply chain planning and operations to meet our business objectives. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for forecasting demand, managing suppliers, and implementing supply chain improvement initiatives to optimize inventory levels and forecast accuracy.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Manage suppliers effectively, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Implement supply chain improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing costs, improving forecast accuracy, and increasing efficiency.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, making recommendations to senior management.

Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • A strong background in supply chain management or a related field, with a formal qualification in Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Excel, with experience in data analysis and trend identification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically to solve complex problems.

Salary: AU$95,000 - AU$115,000 per annum
