About The Role

The primary role of this position is to provide administrative and financial support to accountants as well as build good relationships with suppliers and clients to resolve all account issues on a timely basis.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of supplier invoices, credit card statements, and expense reports into ESI-AP (Electronic Supplier Interface)
  • Manage accounts payable & receivable procedures and update documents in System Documents
  • Assist with reconciliations as requested
  • Comply with internal controls when issuing payments
About You

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in full function accounts payable or receivable in a high-volume environment with exposure to automated payment processes
  • Exposure to the mining industry is preferred
  • The ability to effectively communicate financial results to various stakeholders
  • The ability to question and interpret results and seek answers to support operations
  • Ideal experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, or Pronto
  • A minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability metrics
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture
  • A willingness to take on new challenges and continuously learn and grow professionally
