Job Title: Packaged Gas Scheduler

Job Summary:

The Packaged Gas Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the delivery of packaged gas to clients and distributors in a specific geographic area. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize deliveries to clients and distributors
  • Improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of distribution operations
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
  • Monitor operational KPIs and reduce non-quality costs
  • Identify areas for improvement through data analysis and simulation
  • Develop and implement solutions to optimize distribution operations
  • Control the efficiency of the routing tool
  • Collaborate with sales teams and order takers to analyze client needs
  • Propose solutions and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Avoid unnecessary deliveries and costs while meeting client needs
  • Verify the consistency between transport invoices, planning, and execution
  • Identify gaps and inform the Cylinder Dispatch Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in transport planning and scheduling
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transport (ADG)
  • Strong knowledge of computerized systems and programming (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Knowledge of logistics or freight operations
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving ability
  • Tenacity, resilience, and conflict resolution skills
