  • Initiate product enhancement actions through warranty program preparations to address the commercial impact of field issues.
  • Prepare and distribute technical publications to communicate problems, resolutions, and product improvements.
  • Provide input to the New Product Introduction (NPI) team regarding serviceability, reliability, and durability objectives.
  • Offer technical product support to dealer personnel, subsidiary service teams, marketing units, design engineers, and testing divisions.
  • Assist marketing teams with technical guidance for managing customer issues related to product deficiencies.
  • Support design engineers by identifying market needs for new or modified products.
  • Counsel subsidiary plant service engineering and product quality teams on product maintenance issues.
  • Respond to inquiries from dealers, customers, and other Caterpillar employees regarding product performance.
  • Conduct visits to dealers and customers to provide technical assistance on urgent field issues and follow-up actions. Maintain effective communication across multiple plants on a global scale.

Required Qualifications:

  • A technical or engineering background with several years of field service experience (preferably with Caterpillar) and extensive knowledge of a variety of Marine products and systems.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, coupled with solid product knowledge and a good engineering foundation.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and persuasive capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What You Will Gain:

At Caterpillar, we aim for you to have a fulfilling career. Our teams play a vital role in the success of our clients who are dedicated to building a better world.
