Job Title

Water Filtration Plant Operator is a vital role that requires expertise in operating and maintaining complex plant and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of water filtration plants and bulk water infrastructure.

The ideal applicant will have sound knowledge in production and/or maintenance of complex plant and equipment, as well as experience in chemical dosing and general construction induction. Additionally, they should be able to work alone and in a team environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Operate and maintain complex plant and equipment.
  • Carry out dam surveillance tasks.
  • Work on-call and overtime, including weekends, on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:

  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Sound knowledge in production and/or maintenance of complex plant and equipment.
  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
  • Chemical dosing experience.
  • General Construction Induction (White Card).
  • Able to swim.
