Event Operations Specialist

The role of Event Operations Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of events and performances at our venue. This position oversees technical and facilities management, guaranteeing a seamless delivery of high-quality experiences for clients and patrons.
Main Responsibilities:- Building strong relationships with customers to meet their specific needs and expectations
- Coordinating staffing and scheduling for performances, taking into account logistical requirements
- Maintaining and overseeing lighting, audio/video, and technical requirements to ensure optimal event outcomes
Candidates should possess exceptional leadership skills, outstanding communication abilities, and experience managing technical staff and operations within a venue context. They must also be passionate about creating memorable experiences for clients, performers, and audiences.
Requirements:- A minimum of four years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Relevant knowledge and experience in technical production, venue operations, or related fields
- A thorough understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation as it applies to theatre and public venues, with the ability to implement safety protocols effectively
- Strong problem-solving, planning skills, and a solution-oriented attitude to overcome operational challenges
