Pharmacy Research Officer Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading healthcare organization as a Pharmacy Research Officer. In this role, you will play a key part in leading impactful pharmacy research to improve cardiology patient outcomes.


You will have the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and reduce hospital readmissions. Your work will combine clinical expertise with research excellence, directly contributing to reduced readmissions and better patient outcomes.


As a Pharmacy Research Officer, you will be responsible for managing research tasks including participant recruitment, consent, data collection, and data integrity. You will also support the RECARD study through record maintenance, compliance monitoring, and quality auditing.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage research tasks including participant recruitment, consent, data collection, and data integrity.
  • Support the RECARD study through record maintenance, compliance monitoring, and quality auditing.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, researchers, and clinicians to deliver clinical and research milestones.
  • Contribute to education, training, and continuous improvement in research practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in clinical research, ideally within cardiology or multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
  • High-level communication skills for engaging patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
