">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will play a key role in rostering teams, coordinating fleet operations, and ensuring efficient logistics.
">About the Role
">The successful candidate will be responsible for:
">- Rostering staff and vehicles to maximize productivity and efficiency">
- Scheduling high-volume traffic control services to meet client demands">
- Maximizing fleet utilization through effective coordination and planning">
- Organizing vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulations">
- Assisting with drug and alcohol testing (if qualified)">
- Booking accommodations for employees as needed">
- Monitoring, allocating, and controlling personal protective equipment (PPE)">
- Answering calls and responding to service inquiries">
- Providing after-hours support through on-call phone duties">
- Ensuring client schedules are filled and continuity of service is maintained">
- Reporting safety concerns to planners and management">
- Communicating SWMS, TMPs, and TGSs to team members">
- Assisting with recruitment and induction of new staff">
- Tracking employee qualifications to ensure compliance">
- Updating databases with client and employee information and notes">
- Performing general administrative tasks">
- Other duties as directed by the company">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you will need:
">- At least 1 year of experience in administration and rostering">
- Experience in the traffic control or recruitment industry (highly advantageous)">
- Strong computer and administrative skills">
- Able to remain calm and professional under pressure">
- Possess a passion for working with people">
- Confident telephone manner">
- Determination to succeed">
- Motivated by challenges, deadlines, and targets">
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively">
- Sound communication skills">
- Creativity and problem-solving skills">
- Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently">
Benefits
">This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for career growth and development.
