Position Summary :

As the Food Van Shift Manager, you will be supported by the Management Team and will lead and inspire a passionate team during your shift to provide an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment. Some of your duties will include opening and closing the premises, managing customer orders and inquiries, and all aspects of kitchen operation, including food preparation, drink service, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
  • Ability to operate kitchen and front-of-house equipment;
  • Experience in leading and training staff;
  • Proven ability to remain calm, effective, and professional under pressure;
  • Experience in budget management and cost control;
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy;
  • Strong compliance to company policies and procedures;
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to prepare and present all menu items;
  • Knowledge of workplace health & safety regulations;
  • Have a responsible attitude and able to provide supervision and guidance to the team;
  • Able to follow directions and work as part of a team to achieve goals;
  • Able to communicate effectively with fellow staff, customers, and management;
  • Proven ability to provide consistent, friendly, and efficient service to all customers;
  • Able to optimize customer sales through effectively adding value as much as possible;
  • Able to operate, maintain, and clean all equipment relevant to the role;
  • Able to maintain shop presentation, hygiene, and product quality through following daily and weekly procedures and schedules;
  • Pro-active, positive, enthusiastic, energetic, responsible, and friendly;
