Senior Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled senior accountant to lead our well-established team. This opportunity is for someone who wants to develop their leadership skills and work closely with directors and team members to establish relationships with key clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • To provide monthly management reports and construct logical and accurate working papers.
  • To manage the workflow of the team effectively.
  • To provide clear expectations and outcomes to team members.
  • To delegate work and provide support and guidance to ensure team members have the necessary skills to thrive in their roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or certification.
  • A warm and inclusive leadership style that brings out the best in your team, with proven experience in coaching and development.
  • Experience working as a senior accountant in a professional services environment, preferably with exposure to corporate clients.
  • Dynamism and flexibility in approach.
  • An eagerness to learn and be ambitious for yourself, your team, and the organization.
