The Garvan Research Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Supporter Services Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building loyalty, and driving lifetime value through interactions with existing and potential supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall performance of the Supporter Services Office and deliver a wide range of services to existing and potential supporters.
  • Assist in managing the Foundation inbox and daily logging in the phone queue.
  • Process donations, including receipting and tracking, and maintain accurate records in the Raiser's Edge database.
  • Provide best practice standards and deliver exemplary donor care in all channels of communication.
  • Assist with planning and execution of selected projects for the year.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector or call centre setting.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Database and data entry experience, including running reports and queries.
  • Understanding of Australian Privacy Principles and legal requirements of capturing, storing, and using personal information.
