Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team at Fujitsu.

About the Role

  1. Manage and develop a team of technical specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  2. Establish relationships with customers, managers, and stakeholders to provide technical interface and support.
  3. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate technical skill level and resource risks.
  4. Resource allocation and scheduling to meet service demands, considering changing priorities and issues.
  5. Monitor, control, and improve service delivery to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  6. Ensure the delivery of services meets SLAs, aiming for improvement and impeccable service.
  7. Improve core skills, adopt standard processes, and encourage re-use among the team.
  8. Adhere to agreed strategic toolset and promote its deployment and usage.

About You

  • Maintain and grow technical skill levels of the team, balancing technical capability and soft skills.
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Ensure awareness and conformance to relevant standards.
  • Complete all aspects of the Performance Management process.
  • Build relationships with internal peers, stakeholders, and customers as necessary.
  • Recognize and communicate risks, proposing solutions.
  • Regularly review service issues and exceptions.
  • Encourage best practice use across the team, documenting and sharing with others.
