This is a critical role within our Research and Development team, where you'll lead the way in our next generation of navigation and robotics products.
As our Lead Electronics Engineer and Technical Director, you'll be responsible for managing a highly technical team, ensuring projects run to time and deliver on key performance specifications.
You'll oversee the design and development of electronics circuits for our Advanced Navigation technologies, utilising analogue signal processing and digital circuits.
This role offers a broad responsibility within a multidisciplinary team, driving better design and project execution. You'll contribute across the entire design phase to prototype, develop, and then design to planning and supporting the manufacturing of complex products.
Our products will be used in a range of applications in defence, autonomous vehicles, underwater vehicles, aerospace platforms, and other advanced industries.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree or higher in electrical/electronic engineering, 10-20 years of experience in high-level electronics design roles and/or hardware management, and experience managing highly technical teams.
They will also have experience designing and developing complex electronics, particularly with precision analogue data acquisition/processing and high-speed digital circuits.
A high level of proficiency in industry-standard tools such as SPICE, Altium Designer, and Matlab or similar tools is essential.
The annual salary for this role is approximately $180,000 - $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
