Job Description

As a key member of our Australia Healthcare team, you'll be responsible for analyzing individual companies and their equities within the Healthcare sector. Your role will involve publishing reports, initiating sales calls, and marketing investment opinions. You'll also produce regular reports summarizing findings and predictions, as well as contribute to overall sector views and pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models and interpret data and analysis on market, economic, and political events.
  • Build strong relationships and have regular communications with the Equities sales force and traders, clients, and companies' management.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members to build technical and soft skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced professional with a minimum 6 years of equity research experience covering the healthcare sector stocks. A PhD, Master's/Bachelor's degree in Biology or Medical degree, or Economics/Finance/Accounting, along with CFA qualification, is preferred. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, as well as excellent modeling skills and a solid grounding in accounting/financial fundamentals.
