Overview


We are seeking a skilled Investment Research Analyst to join our Australia Healthcare team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing valuable insights and investment ideas for our clients.



About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity to work with our experienced team of analysts who cover various sectors, including healthcare. You will be responsible for:



  • Analyzing individual companies and their equities within the healthcare sector, publishing reports, initiating sales calls and marketing investment opinions
  • Producing regular reports summarizing findings and predictions, as well as responsibility for the sector news flow and contributing to overall sector views/pieces
  • Developing financial models and interpreting data and analysis on market, economic and political events
  • Developing strong relationships and having regular communications with the Equities sales force and traders, clients and companies' management
  • Providing guidance and coaching to junior team members to build technical and soft skills


Your Skills and Experience


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 6 years of equity research experience covering the healthcare sector stocks
  • A PhD, Masters/Bachelors in Biology or Medical degree or Economics/ Finance/ Accounting, and CFA qualification
  • A strong understanding of the ANZ Healthcare sector and macro economy
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Excellent modeling skills and a solid grounding in accounting/financial fundamentals
  • The ability to respond quickly to changing situations
  • A well-developed commercial attitude and client marketing/relationship management skills
  • Demonstrable time management and prioritization skills


Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
