The role of Financial Leadership Manager is available due to an internal movement.

This 6-month opportunity will see you provide exceptional leadership to drive strategic financial outcomes for the organisation.

You will apply a commercial lens, lead cross-functional teams to uplift and strengthen our commercial approach, capability, and maturity across the business to align operations towards a total expenditure view of enterprise expenditure.

Responsibilities include providing commercially focused leadership, delivering a Total Expenditure view of Investment spend, building financial capability, identifying and managing risks, collaborating with stakeholders to support and influence commercial decisions, designing and improving a centralised planning framework, and working with senior executives to develop a framework for the financial governance of business cases.

The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including reference checks, medical assessments, and verification of working rights in Australia.

Skills and experience required include extensive financial management experience within complex corporate environments or commercial aspects of running government businesses or private sector utilities with understanding of regulatory and authorising environment implications. Experience in delivering long-term financial plans and strategic plans is also necessary as well as people management experience within managing financial business partnering teams. Outstanding communication expertise and exceptional influencing and leadership skills are required to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
