Lead Transformative Projects and Drive Strategic Impact

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director to lead transformative projects and drive strategic impact in our Health and Stronger Communities Division.

This is a temporary opportunity with the possibility of ongoing employment in the future.

The classification for this role is Clerk Grade 11/12.

Remuneration for this position includes $149,739.00 - $173,174.00 plus Superannuation and Leave Loading.

The location for this role is Sydney CBD, with flexible and hybrid working options available.

About Your Role as an Associate Director
  • You will manage complex initiatives, delivering strategic advice and thorough evaluations to shape government decisions and policy development.
About Our Health and Stronger Communities Division

We leverage a multi-disciplinary team to develop evidence-based solutions and strategic advice for senior decision-makers across various social and economic policy areas.

We ensure a whole-of-government approach for the NSW Government.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Drive significant policy advancements and support a team of talented professionals.
Requirements
  • Experience in research and analysis is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial and policy analysis clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing) is required.
  • Experience in providing high-quality economic/fiscal/policy advice is necessary.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • A commitment to contributing to an inclusive culture and encouraging diversity is expected.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics or a relevant degree are preferred.
