We are currently seeking an Inventory Assistant to join our operations team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion of weekly inventory counts
  • Maintaining product identification and locations
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Accurately managing raw materials transfer orders and finished goods stock between company locations
  • Unloading shipments, material handling and movement of stock to designated storage racks or inspection areas
  • Receiving purchase orders for online stock and raw materials
  • Counting, checking and reviewing items into the company using goods receiving process
  • Providing and correcting supplier invoice to PO variances, reporting if outside agreed values
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, disposal of cardboard and packaging
  • Organizing inventory for easy access

The successful candidate will also possess:

  • A current Australian driving license
  • Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
  • Effective time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills and MS office knowledge
  • Comfortable working independently and contributing to team activities and meetings
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with paper orders and receipts
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift, bend and pull heavy items

Please note that the following are desirable skills and qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar inventory control role
  • Forklift operator's license preferable
