Job Summary">

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing overhead cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Install and test new equipment, including cranes, hoists, and materials handling equipment
  • Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy and fit using precision measuring instruments
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in the crane industry, preferably with a reputable manufacturer or supplier
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Current manual driver's license and ability to travel to remote sites when required
