About the Role

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic needed for a workshop-based position at our off-site rebuild facility. The successful candidate will work in a predominantly dayshift environment, Monday to Friday, with minimal mine site travel.

This role is ideal for those looking to start their career as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or seeking a stable workshop-based job with opportunities for upskilling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support machine overhauls and component change out
  • Carry out general repairs and servicing
  • Ensure equipment meets mine-site and MDG15 compliance standards

Requirements:

  • Relevant Trade Certificate - Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
  • Class 'C' Drivers licence
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry
  • Experience in general maintenance, diagnosis, component changed outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
  • Self motivation and a strong work ethic
