Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Goodstart Sinnamon Park. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our children and staff. This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for our children and staff, ensuring all dietary requirements and allergies are met.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Plan and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience in a childcare setting.
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
We offer competitive pay rates, at least 5% above national award rates. You will also receive 50% discount off your childcare gap fees and up to 6 weeks paid parental leave. Additionally, you will have access to paid professional development opportunities and two wellbeing days per year.
