Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Achieving tertiary qualifications in building surveying or a recognised qualification for a building surveyor by fair trading NSW (or near completion)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant building and planning legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of investigations and enforcement action
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to the provision of excellent customer service
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively as part of a team environment
  • Current class C drivers licence
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to WHS and EEO principles
  • Registered certifier holding minimum category of accreditation of building inspector under the 'building and development certifiers regulation 2020'
  • Practical experience in a similar role as a building surveyor/compliance officer
