Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Home Damage Inspector to join our team. As a Home Damage Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing and reporting on damages to domestic properties.
Your primary goal will be to provide accurate and detailed reports on building damage, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. You will work closely with our claims team to discuss and agree upon the best repair methods for each property.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with our customers. You will also have a strong understanding of building methodology and be able to produce accurate scopes of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in managing quality building work and enhancing customer satisfaction;
Strong understanding of building methodology;
Background in producing accurate scopes of works;
Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
Reputable communication skills and conflict resolution handling;
Experience in managing, coaching and appraising builders;
Proven experience in building effective business relationships with builders;
Insurance experience preferred but not essential.
