Role Overview

EML (Employers Mutual Limited) is a leading provider of workers' compensation insurance solutions in NSW. We are currently seeking an experienced Training and Assessment Specialist to join our team based in Newcastle or Sydney.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work with claims staff to demonstrate their competence and capability through completion of learning requirements and assessment procedures. This role involves maintaining all records in a timely manner, participating in validation and moderation, and using teaching and assessment methods that are fair, valid, current, and sufficient.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for, conduct, and document both training delivery and assessment procedures.
  • Maintain all records in a timely manner and in accordance with required policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and contribute to validation and moderation.
  • Use teaching and assessment methods that are fair, valid, current, and sufficient.
  • Conduct and support training needs analysis with key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships to facilitate the delivery of the strategy and objectives.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal clients, and the management team by displaying our values and behaviours.

Your Requirements

  • Experience working within the NSW workers compensation system is desirable.
  • Successful track record in achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions throughout the continuous improvement lifecycle.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational ability, including the use of effective time management and prioritisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and drive to provide a high level of service to our customers.
  • Experience working in a demanding, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, including intermediate to advanced skill levels of MS Word and MS Excel.

What We Offer
