Join the University's Marketing and Communications Team as a Senior Specialist.

We are seeking a highly skilled marketing and communications professional to lead strategic initiatives across student recruitment, research, alumni relations, and external outreach.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns, manage digital content, coordinate multimedia assets, and oversee a small team. You will stay ahead of industry trends, support major events, and deputise for the Head of Marketing and Communications (Health and Science) as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic marketing and communications initiatives across student recruitment, research, alumni relations, and external outreach.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage digital content, coordinate multimedia assets, and oversee a small team.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and support major events.
  • Deputise for the Head of Marketing and Communications (Health and Science) as required.
About You:
  • Experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns in a large and complex organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills across stakeholder engagement, brand messaging, public speaking, facilitation, negotiation, social media management, and promotional campaigns.
  • Experience editing copy to ensure publications meet editorial requirements and objectives (print or online).
  • Experience using a content management system, ideally Adobe Suite.
  • Experience using social and digital media to reach and engage target audiences.
  • Project management experience; ability to lead a collaborative approach to address complex matters.
  • Ability to provide leadership to staff and work effectively as a team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
