Property Damage Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Property Damage Specialist to join our team. This role involves assessing damage to properties, determining necessary repairs and costs, and providing accurate assessments to insurance companies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and building codes, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be responsible for creating detailed repair quotes, managing repair projects from start to finish, and ensuring quality control through site visits and inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance repair assessment or a related field, with a licenced builder or building qualification being highly desirable. They will also possess strong organisational and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess damage to properties and determine necessary repairs and costs.
  • Create detailed repair quotes and negotiate pricing with suppliers and contractors.
  • Manage repair projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance repair assessment or a related field.
  • Licenced Builder or Building qualification is ideal.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
