About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven FIFO Site Supervisor to join our growing team, working on key mining infrastructure projects across Australia.

This hands-on supervisory role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic site environments and is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes in line with client and regulatory expectations. You will lead teams of poly welders, machine operators, and Trade Assistants while liaising closely with key stakeholders to deliver projects on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of on-site crews in a hands-on capacity.
• Fulfill duties in line with Section 26 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, ensuring the health and safety of workers under your supervision.
• Work on a fly in fly out (FIFO) basis to remote sites across Australia in line with BMR's operations requirements, ensuring full availability for rostered swings.
• Mentor team members to uphold high standards of workmanship, safety and productivity.
• Ensure all team members comply with client policies and procedures and site-specific requirements in addition to BMR Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Promptly address and escalate HSEQ issues and provide constructive feedback and strategies to improve team performance and morale.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate upskilling for staff under your supervision.
• Set clear, achievable goals for team members that align with project deadlines and company objectives.
• Plan and allocate workforce, equipment, and materials in line with project scopes to ensure efficient, on-budget project delivery.
• Liaise with all project stakeholders to address and resolve any issues and maintain positive working relationships.
• Complete QA/QC documents and MDRs for projects accurately and on schedule ensuring compliance with client and BMR standards.
• Prepare daily job reports and timesheets for client review and approval.
• Oversee the completion and submission of daily/weekly timesheets for the crew to BMR Operations.
• Conduct end-of-project and monthly equipment audits ensuring faulty equipment is identified, appropriately tagged out and repairs organised.
• Ensure servicing/calibration of all equipment is up-to-date and accurate records are maintained at all times.
• Oversee and perform dam lining repairs, new dam construction, and HDPE pipe installation, repair, and modification, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Section 26 Leadership qualification.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HDPE welding including pipe sizes up to 900mm
• Valid Polywelding certification for electrofusion and butt-welding.
• Proven experience with Dixon & McElroy Polywelding machines.
• Must undergo a full medical and LAB drug and alcohol testing.
• Provide current National Police Clearance (issued within the past 12 months).
• Licences and tickets required:
• High Risk Work Licence
• Construction White Card
• Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's licence
