As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for implementing and facilitating the SA Health Data Governance Framework. This involves collaborating with the Manager, Data Governance and Integrity to develop policies and procedures as well as identifying and implementing contemporary technologies required under the framework.

You will represent SA Health at a national and state level, ensuring consistent data stewardship and providing users with high-quality and consistent data. Your role will also involve managing metadata across the agency for SA Health Data Assets and associated products and services.

A key aspect of this role is working across the organization to ensure support for and understanding of data governance. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance data quality and consistency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a significant impact on data governance within SA Health. If you are passionate about data management and have excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $108,109 to $116,864 (ASO7). The successful candidate will also have access to flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have a National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups. Immunisation requirements are also a necessary part of this position.
