Academic Leadership Opportunity
This is a unique chance for a self-motivated ESL professional to take on a key role in supporting the Operations Manager and contributing to the success of our academic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level academic support to the Operations Manager.
- Support teaching staff in their daily tasks and activities.
- Interview and trial new teachers as required.
- Mentor young teachers as needed.
- Organize relief teachers and provide reference letters when asked.
- Test, interview and place new students.
- Counsel, support and give academic advice as necessary.
- Advise prospective students on study options and assist with enrolment processes.
- Liaise with exam managers, tour groups manager and agents as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and CELTA (or equivalent).
- Relevant ELICOS experience in a management or supervisory role in Australia.
- Strong management and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken communication.
- A warm, empathetic manner in dealing with students.
