Job Description

The Senior Finance Officer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire finance function of the organization.

This unique role encompasses strategic and operational responsibilities, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance, and effective budget management.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate and manage annual external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to forecast income, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory obligations, including preparation and submission of BAS, payroll tax, and superannuation.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the end-to-end management of accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and payments.
