Policy Program Officer - Aviation Governance

We are seeking experienced Policy Program Officers to join our team in an aviation governance policy role.

The successful candidate will be working within a team responsible for briefing, collaboration and communicating with key stakeholders. This may include:

  • Developing and supporting effective relationships with key aviation agencies
  • Policy development and analysis
  • Research and drafting of advice
  • Secretariat/meeting preparation and support
  • Preparation of briefs, ministerial correspondence and research
  • Supporting financial and performance reporting processes

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Prior experience in policy or program delivery within federal government
  • Demonstrated ability to draft a range of documentation including briefing, policy advice and correspondence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Strong writing skills to prepare high-quality reports and briefs
  • Highly developed communication skills to build relationships and liaise with stakeholders
  • Strong research skills to support the development of high-quality briefing and advice

A baseline clearance is essential for this position.
