About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Return to Work and Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Pillow Talk. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a vital role in supporting our employees' return to work and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and interpret medical information and reports to support employee return to work
  • Coordinate and implement return to work plans to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team, including processing payroll and managing employee data
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including workers' compensation and payroll laws
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders to promote a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements
  • Return-to-Work Coordinator Certification and previous experience in a Return-to-Work Coordinator role
  • Experience working within the injury and illness jurisdictions across each state
  • Proven ability to manage, interpret and draw insight from medical information and reports
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to a positive safety culture with a RTW ethos that is focused on the support and wellbeing of the employee
  • An understanding of and experience executing end-to-end payroll processes including regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Knowledge of industry awards, General Retail Industry Award and/or Storage Services and Wholesale Award preferable
  • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and superb written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships internally and externally
  • Highly organised with a focus on productivity and getting the job done
