Job Description:

The role offers an opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Specialist based at our Stapylton site. This is a full-time position requiring a skilled tradesperson to work on the morning and afternoon shifts across multiple 24-hour production facilities.

As part of the maintenance team, our Industrial Electricians play a critical role in supporting the production crew through preventive maintenance and breakdown support.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working as an Industrial Electrician in a high-volume manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will hold the relevant trade qualifications and demonstrate good communication, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and the environment
  • Carry out electrical repairs on a range of fixed plant with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/preventive maintenance
  • Work closely with the Operations team during breakdowns, fault finding, and troubleshooting issues
  • Effectively respond to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Maintain PLCs and circuitry
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with site requirements
  • Perform major overhauls through various plant shutdowns
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Provide direction to contractors and work groups as required
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified (Valid unrestricted electrical license)
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial environment
  • A high level of fault-finding experience
  • PLC diagnostic experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
  • A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility
  • Ability to work, at times, autonomously and without direct supervision
