Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery, troubleshooting PLCs, operating production lines, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade electrical licence and trade qualification, strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an automated manufacturing environment, and a proactive attitude and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with production machinery.
  • Conduct quality checks and report any defects or discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
Requirements
  • A Grade electrical licence and trade qualification.
  • Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to operate a production line and work with production team.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience required with programming a bonus.
