We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Markets Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Finance segment, you will play a critical role in supporting the origination and execution of business strategies across various industries.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Originate and execute business opportunities with a strong focus on financial institutions coverage.">
  • Conduct due diligence of clients and markets; manage deal documentation and internal approvals.">
  • Participate in marketing efforts, including preparation of client presentations and pitches.">
  • Handle day-to-day client queries on all execution-related matters.">
  • Attend client meetings, including execution and pitches.">

About the Role:

This is a full-time, regular role that offers a competitive salary with superannuation paid over and above fixed pay. You will also receive 4 weeks annual leave, plus one week additional leave, one week wellbeing leave, and the option to purchase leave (eligibility criteria apply). Additionally, we offer salary packaging for car parking, motor vehicles, taxis and superannuation, parental leave benefits, health and lifestyle benefits, insurance cover, and matched giving and paid volunteer leave.

Your Skills and Experience:

">

Minimum 7 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry with direct experience in Financial Institutions coverage. Strong quantitative skills with extensive experience in financial models and valuation techniques. Detail-oriented with strong commercial acumen. Highly motivated, self-driven, with ability to multi-task and take initiative; strong critical thinking. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
